There are so many amazing sights that it’s really impossible to capture the journey in a picture, a handful of pictures, or possibly even in a whole Photobucket of pictures. As we travel and see the states from coast to coast, we’ll be sharing some landscapes, quirky spots, and other things that show at least a slice of the American experience. We haven’t been in a single state yet that didn’t have some unexpectedly beautiful features. Here are some of our favorites.
- The wild rice fields on the Moose River in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
- The view from the back porch of our campsite on Lac La Croix.
- Ahh… New Mexico
- A windmill in New Mexico
- In Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument
- Horses grazing at Spur Lake Basin
- Chile ristras at the the Hatch Chile Festival
- Coming off of Luna Mountain
- Brian and Sam at Luna Lake in Luna, NM
- In Joshua Tree National Park
- A campground in Lassen National Forest
